About Us

Dr. Michael Lützebauer brings extensive experience from both sides of the table: as a Principal at a leading US management consulting firm and as a client within two major German banks. Consequently, he founded his own management consulting company in 2007, driven by the conviction that only exceptionally senior and experienced professionals can provide clients with sustainable, top-tier value quickly and efficiently.

What distinguishes us?

Our approach differs from that of major international consulting firms across five core principles:

Senior-Led Engagement

Providing exclusively senior expertise with long-standing experience and a proven track record—typically delivered by Dr. Michael Lützebauer himself. Clients work with seasoned experts, not junior consultants or recent graduates learning on the job.

Impact-Focused Approach

Prioritizing high-impact improvements through the rapid identification of core issues. We avoid month-long as-is analyses, delivering and implementing solutions faster and more effectively than large standard consulting teams.

Leveraged Collaboration

Partnering closely with clients to coach and support their internal project managers and teams. Together, we develop state-of-the-art concepts and ensure timely, successful implementation.

Fostering Ownership

Ensuring that client teams and stakeholders take full ownership of all developed concepts. We believe ownership is the most critical prerequisite for sustainable, lasting success.

Financials-Driven Results

Quantifying the financial impact of improvements through financial modeling for integration into mid-term financial plans. This clear financial focus ensures proper resource allocation and top-management buy-in.

The effectiveness of our consulting approach is proven by a strong track record of successful engagements. Key examples include a comprehensive, two-year turnaround of a CEE bank with 10,000 employees encompassing 20 parallel projects; the spearheaded roll-out of a large-scale digital transformation program spanning 18 countries to optimize cross-border digital infrastructure and operating models; and the optimization of commission and fee income for the corporate banking division of a leading African financial institution.
